Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Planners (CICBP) is a federally chartered, non-profit professional organization incorporated under the Canada Corporations Act, by Letters Patent granted by the Minister of Industry of the Government of Canada. The Institute was created to provide educational programs and professional development opportunities for business planners and designate those who meet the Institute’s requirement as Chartered Business Planners (CBPs). The Institute is dedicated to ensuring a high degree of professionalism and high standards in the field of business planning.

The Institute is Canada’s only professional institution dedicated to business planning. Persons qualified as members of the Institute are entitled to use the professional designation Chartered Business Planner (CBP), which has come to be recognized as the premier credential for professional business planners in Canada and elsewhere.

The Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), founded on May 21, 1936, is a national learned organization engaged in the promotion of the art and science of mechanical engineering. CMES was chartered as a legal person at the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.
